01 / A simple handoff
Set one device as Camera and the other as Monitor. Keep both apps in the foreground.
Connect over local Wi-Fi or supported nearby peer-to-peer Wi-Fi. Confirm the first connection with a four-digit code.
Use Monitor to frame, focus and trigger a photo or start a video. Originals stay on the Camera.

Let one device hold the composition. Use the other to see the frame and control the capture. A local connection gives each role its own space.

Captures save on the Camera and are added to its Photos library when permitted. Originals are not automatically sent to Monitor.

Capture and control connect directly between your devices. CamRelay does not upload your recordings to the operator or a CamRelay server.
Apple Photos, iCloud, backups and anything you choose to share follow your system settings and the services you use.

CamRelay is in development and device testing. The initial release is planned to be free, with one Camera and one Monitor, without in-app purchases or subscriptions.
